Sugar Wing Ops Privacy Policy

Sugar Wing Ops ("the app") is an internal operations app for employees of Sugar Wing restaurants, operated by Sugar Wing Holdings LLC ("Sugar Wing", "we"). Accounts are created by Sugar Wing managers; there is no public sign-up.
What we collect
Account information, entered by your manager: your name, initials, work email address, role (crew, shift lead, general manager or owner), the store or stores you work at, and whether you have access to recipes.
Work records you create in the app, each saved with your name and the time:
- checklist tasks you complete, temperature readings, corrective actions, notes and sign-offs;
- food labels you log;
- deliveries you receive and the results of invoice line checks (received, short, damaged, wrong item), and waste you log;
- maintenance reports and assigned tasks, including the notes you write;
- training progress: lessons watched, quiz answers and scores, and on-shift checks.
Photos you choose to take with the camera for checklist tasks, maintenance reports and assigned tasks. The app uses the camera only when you tap to take a photo. It does not access your photo library or your microphone.
Push notification token: if you allow notifications, your device's push token, so we can send you work notifications (for example a new assigned task or a maintenance update).
Business data from our accounting system: vendor invoices (vendor, items, quantities and prices) are imported from Restaurant365 for receiving. This is business data, not personal data.
We do not collect your location, contacts, health data, browsing history or advertising identifiers. The app has no ads, no analytics or tracking tools, and no in-app purchases.
How we use it
Only to run Sugar Wing restaurants: to record who completed which food safety, cleaning, receiving and training tasks; to keep records for health inspections; to let managers review operations; and to send work notifications. We don't sell personal information, use it for advertising, or track you across other companies' apps or websites.
Who can see it
People at Sugar Wing with the right role: managers and shift leads at your store(s) and the owner. Crew members see their own work and what they need to do their job. Photos are stored privately and can only be viewed in the app by people with access to that store.
Service providers that process data for us:
- Supabase (database, logins and photo storage, United States);
- Expo (delivering push notifications);
- Restaurant365 (source of invoice data);
- YouTube (training videos play in an embedded YouTube player, which is subject to Google's privacy policy).
How long we keep it, and deleting your account
You can delete your account at any time in the app: Account → Delete account. Your manager can also remove your login. Deleting removes your login, email address and profile. Food safety, receiving and training records you completed are kept with your name, because they're part of the store's operating and inspection records.
Children
The app is for Sugar Wing employees only and is not directed to children under 13.
Changes
If we change this policy, we'll update this page and the effective date.
